If you are being bothered by someone you know, you don’t have to take it. This could be a friend, an acquaintance, a classmate who’s being mean, someone who likes you, or a family member.
If you are getting constant text messages at all hours of the day, it can get really annoying. You need to let this person know that they are being a textual harasser — they are not respecting your boundaries and they are stressing you out. Tell them that they need to relax a bit. Let them know that you’re not always going to be able to text them back, and that it doesn’t mean you’re ignoring them or mad at them. Remember that you do not need to be in touch always.
If someone likes you and is trying to tell you repeatedly through text messages, let them know how you feel about them – even if you don’t feel the same way as they do. If they continue to bother you, ignore the texts and tell a safe adult.
If someone is bullying you, being mean, or threatening you through texting, you need to tell a safe adult. Ignore the texts, do not respond, and show them to an adult you trust.
Id say get out of my face. I dont know you so leave me alone.
